With over 10 years experience as a graphic designer and art director, Tyler Munson's career began with a summer job in high school working for a book designer. Today, his work spans the worlds of print, corporate identity, typography, web and software interface design.
At the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), Tyler worked with the group that created the first web browser, Mosaic, and led the design of the NCSA website. His online work led to recognition by Newsweek as an early web innovator.
At Electronics For Imaging (EFI), Tyler was responsible for both product- and corporate-level design, including user interface for EFI's Fiery and eBeam product lines, corporate identity systems, annual reports and packaging. His work at EFI led to the award of a patent, with others pending.

As Creative Director of Collabrys (a marketing upstart acquired by E-centives in 2004), Tyler was responsible for all creative efforts, from corporate identity and marketing materials, to user interface, to client marketing programs. Over the course of 4 years, Collabrys built a who's who list of clientele, including Bank of America, Johnson & Johnson, Estée Lauder, New York Life, US Airways and Clorox.
Following Collabrys, Tyler launched the design and branding firm munsonDesign in the South of Market district of San Francisco. Upon building a strong, interdisciplinary team of strategists, designers, writers and developers, Tyler successfully led the creation of programs for clients including Gap, Palm, Oracle, and music producer Paul Oakenfold, among many others.
In 2006, he contributed to Adobe's Classroom in a Book Series, for Photoshop and Flash CS3.
Tyler is a partner with Vitamin T, LLC, which operates the Daytipper.com website.
He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, with a B.S. in Advertising and a B.F.A. in Graphic Design.
